Danny Rerucha (last updated 13 April 2013)

Danny has lived in Omaha for the past 21 years.  He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor's degree in computer science in May, and will be attending the University of Utah this fall to pursue a master's degree in computing with an emphasis on graphics and visualization.  After he finishes graduate school, he wants to fill a technical position in the entertainment industry.  His dream job is to write software for Pixar Animation Studios.  He has been playing video games since the SNES era, and started taking board games seriously last summer.  He has created a few small games over the past year, and would like to hone his skills as a hobbyist game designer/developer.

Danny started the Omaha game club because he loves games, but realized he was spending more time reading about them than he was spending playing them.  The Omaha Game Club gives him a chance to play games he wouldn't normally choose to explore on his own, and gives him a community of people to share his thoughts and experiences with about all the games he's playing.  He feels the best way to learn about game design and grow as a game developer is through thoughtful analyses of games, and is excited to have the Omaha Game Club push him to play, think, and write about games.

Last summer, when Danny first started thinking about game design seriously, he started writing a blog about everything he learned concerning game design and development.  While his interest in game design and development has not waned since then, the blog was short lived, and he regularly contributed posts for only about 5 months.  If you're interested, you can find that blog here.

Marcus Seldon

My name is Marcus S,  but you can call me by my alias Tuxcedo Ninja. I am 22 and a student at Bellevue University.  At Bellevue, I am pursuing a degree in Game Studies.  For the time being, my focus is on programming, but since I am still early in the program I have a lot of time to decide on a focus.  I am a hardcore gamer in cycles.  I say cycles because I get into one or two games for a month or so and then I don't play any games for a while.  But, when I do play games, I make sure to get my money's worth.

Besides gaming I have a variety of interests, including anime, computers, and art.  For the most part I am a pretty laid back person and am currently broke (not for the lack of trying to find a job).  Also, I am a amateur photographer, and I have taken some pretty neat pictures.  Since I'd rather not give away too much personal information on a public blog, this is all you get to know about me.
